NVI Honored at the 39th EVA Annual Conference

The National Veterinary Institute (NVI) was honored with a Bronze-Level Recognition Trophy for its significant contribution to the veterinary profession and food security at large during the 39th Ethiopian Veterinary Association (EVA) Annual Conference, held from 28–29 August 2026 under the theme, “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health.”
The recognition reflects NVI’s longstanding commitment to advancing Ethiopia’s livestock sector and strengthening veterinary services through the manufacturing and supply of high-quality veterinary vaccines and pharmaceutical products.
NVI management expresses its deepest gratitude to the Ethiopian Veterinary Association for recognizing the Institute’s contribution. The award is a profound testament to the hard work, dedication, and sustained commitment of the entire NVI team, whose efforts over the decades have contributed significantly to the health and productivity of the nation’s livestock sector and, ultimately to food security.
The theme of this year’s conference “Veterinarians: Guardians of Food and Health,” perfectly reflects NVI’s mission and its vital role in protecting animal health, supporting sustainable livestock production, safeguarding public health, and contributing to national food security.
NVI remains committed to working alongside veterinary professionals, government institutions, academia, development partners, and other stakeholders to strengthen Ethiopia’s veterinary health system and contribute to a healthier, more resilient, and food-secure nation.
