Workshop on technology transfer underway in the NVI

Workshop targeting technology transfers on recombinant veterinary vaccines development and production is underway in the National Veterinary Institute for three days (16-18 December 2019) here in our country, Bishoftu-Ethiopia.

The workshop bring together the main players and professionals in vaccine technology from different countries of Canada-McGill university, Tunisia-Institute Pasteur des Tunis and NVI-National veterinary Institute, the host institute, is expected

to be the beneficiary from the work-shop on vaccine research and production issues that enables the institute to make a consistent supply of good quality vaccines and will capacitate the staff on vaccines producing ability, using advanced technology.

The project “A non-replicative adenovirus vaccine platform for poultry diseases” is funded by International development Research center-IDRC, Canada.
